Live species (fish, coral, live, rock, frozen foods, etc. are considered *Exclusions* orders and will be shipped next day and does not qualify for free shipping, unless a special promotional free or discounted shipping is offered at the time of purchase or by the Seller.
To ensure you receive the healthiest species available and to reduce the travel stress on your aquatic life, your order will be shipped direct to your door requiring signature confirmation.
The day your order ships, you will receive an e-mail containing your item numbers and tracking number so you can make arrangements to sign for your order upon scheduled arrival. Please Note: We strongly encourage someone to be available at the time of delivery to prevent the aquatic life from being exposed to the elements and extreme temperatures.
All live species orders will include a printed version of our detailed acclimation instructions. Please follow the acclimation steps carefully to ensure the good health of your new arrivals.
Please Note: Livestock can only be shipped within the Continental United States. We cannot ship any aquarium life to Hawaii, APO addresses, Post Office Boxes, Puerto Rico, other U.S. Territories, or other countries.
These special-handling fees will be displayed on the product page and/or during check-out. Our shopping cart is able to calculate express shipping rates.

The health and vitality of our livestock is our top priority. We back every livestock purchase with an Arrive Alive Guarantee. If your fish, coral, clam or invertebrate does not arrive alive, we will refund you 100% of the value of the perished items (less shipping).
My livestock didn't ARRIVE ALIVE? How do I file a claim?
Place the deceased specimen on a blank sheet of paper with either a copy of the order/invoice that was included with the shipment, or you can write the order on the same sheet of paper. Write your order number along with the date on a sheet of paper and take 2 clear digital photographs of it. Email us the photos within 4 hours of delivery. We will respond within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) to update you on the processing of your claim. We want you to always have a positive experience and as hobbyists ourselves, we know how it feels.
CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS OF OUR ARRIVE ALIVE GUARANTEE:
When you order livestock from ReefsOutlet.com, we guarantee and promise 100% risk free that the livestock will ARRIVE ALIVE and healthy.
Exclusions to this 100% guarantee are the following:
- Package was left at the door, or no one was home and/or no signature was secured. All Livestock shipping & delivery REQUIRE a signature and acceptance of delivery by the courier. NO EXCEPTIONS. You are responsible for the full cost of the order, plus any shipping and handling charges if the delivery is refused for any reason, including no one to sign and accept delivery.
- Our ARRIVE ALIVE Guarantee does not cover areas where temperatures are below 40F or above 90F.
- Improper acclimation and handling procedures.
- Your original shipping charges are non-refundable and not covered under our ARRIVE ALIVE GUARANTEE.
For corals with a skeletal structure such as LPS and SPS corals, the skeleton will be completely white with no color or flesh if the specimen is perished. Flesh of these corals often retract during shipping. Any coloration on the skeleton indicates the presence of flesh and therefore the coral is alive. These corals should recover after being acclimated.
